Tampa, FL

Tampa is the county seat of Hillsborough County, Florida. Located on Florida’s Gulf coast (i.e. the Gulf of Mexico), Tampa is the most populated city on the west coast of Florida. What’s more, in 2017, the city’s population was 385,430, with inhabitants occupying the 113 square-miles which constitutes Tampa proper.

The city is home to the sole dome-vaulted IMAX theater in the state of Florida. Plus, other educational destinations include the city’s observatory, Tampa’s Museum of Art, USF’s Contemporary Art Museum and the History Center of Tampa Bay.
